Our fatwood is made from 100% natural wood. There are no added chemicals to make the wood burn so amazingly well! This is made possible by the very high content of resin in the fatwood. This occurs totally naturally in the stumps of a specific species of dead pine trees

No Live Trees are Harmed

Fatwood is harvested from the stumps of dead trees in Mexico. The trees used for fatwood are non-endangered pines that have already been harvested by logging companies.
